Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Know First ("we," "us," or "Know First"), a subscription alert service accessible at knowfir.st. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What Know First Is

Know First is an email alert service. We monitor selected public information sources, including but not limited to social media posts, government filings, regulatory statements, and market data feeds, and send you email notifications when relevant content is published. That's it.

We relay publicly available information. We are not a financial advisor, broker-dealer, investment adviser, or trading platform. Nothing we send you is investment advice.

2. What Know First Is Not

Not investment advice. Alerts from Know First relay public information for informational purposes only. Nothing in our emails, on our website, or in any communication from us constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of any kind. You should consult a licensed financial professional before making any investment decision.

Not real-time or guaranteed. Alerts may be delayed, incomplete, or missed entirely. We make no guarantee that you will receive any particular alert, that alerts will arrive before you would have found the information yourself, or that the information in any alert is accurate or complete at the time you receive it.

Not affiliated with any source. Know First is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Truth Social, Trump Media & Technology Group, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), or any market data vendor whose data may appear in alerts. Any reference to these entities is purely descriptive of the public information sources we monitor.

3. Subscription and Billing

Plans. We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is displayed at knowfir.st at the time of purchase.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your credit card or payment information. That is handled entirely by Stripe.

Recurring charges. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your account settings or via the link in any billing email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to receive alerts until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, but we will consider refund requests made in good faith within 7 days of a charge to hello@knowfir.st.

Free trials and promotions. If we offer a free trial, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel. We'll remind you before the trial ends.

Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend or terminate your subscription if payment cannot be collected after reasonable notice to you.

4. Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide a real, working email address. That's how we deliver the service. You may not share your subscription with others or use it for commercial redistribution.

You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe. Know First is not directed at minors.

5. What We Send You

Alerts contain excerpts, summaries, or links to publicly available content from the sources you subscribe to. We may include brief commentary describing what the content is (e.g., "This is a new 8-K filing from Acme Corp.").

Alerts may also include an automated "AI market read": a short, plain-language note providing context about the content — which tickers, sectors, or markets that kind of information typically touches, how it can transmit through them, and how comparable events have moved before. The market read is generated by an automated system and is descriptive context only. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and not a statement about what the information means for your portfolio or what you should do with it (see Section 2). It may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and you should not rely on it in making any investment decision.

Alert content originates from third parties. We do not vouch for its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Third-party sources may be wrong, delayed, edited, or removed.

6. Acceptable Use

You may use Know First for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:

• Use alerts to operate a competing redistribution service or to systematically republish alert content without our written permission.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access our service.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with our systems.
• Use the service in violation of any applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

Alert content originates from third-party sources (see Section 5). We do not claim ownership of that content. Our own work (the website, design, branding, selection and organization of feeds, and any original text we write) is owned by Know First and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercialize our original work without permission.

8. No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Know First disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular alert will be delivered.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Know First and its owner(s), affiliates, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, or trading losses) arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Know First harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Know First at any time, with or without cause, with notice where practical. If we terminate your subscription without cause mid-period, we will provide a prorated refund of any prepaid subscription fees. You may terminate by canceling your subscription and ceasing to use the service.

Sections 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in DeKalb County, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (to the address on your account) at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree to updated Terms, cancel your subscription before the effective date.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Know First regarding the service.
