SEC press release alerts by email
Why this feed exists
Our EDGAR feeds carry what companies file. This feed carries what the SEC itself announces: fraud and insider-trading charges, trading suspensions, and the rule proposals and adoptions that change how whole markets operate. An enforcement release names its defendants and links the complaint the moment it publishes — often the first public word that a listed company or its executives have been charged.
What each alert includes
An AI headline naming what actually happened, the release excerpt with a link to the full announcement, and a Market read on relevance: which company or executive is named, the scale of the alleged fraud or penalty, and whether a rule change touches enough of the market to matter beyond the parties involved.
What we filter, honestly
The SEC also announces roundtable agendas, staff appointments, and routine administrative items on the same wire. Those score low and stay out of your real-time alerts at the default setting; genuine enforcement and rulemaking actions come through.
